Privacy Policy

Judooo runs judooo.art, a bilingual (Vietnamese and English) calendar of art events across Vietnam. Judooo is the party responsible for the personal information described here.

Contact for anything in this policy: judooovietnam@gmail.com.

Account: your email address and the name and role on your profile, if you create an account or sign in.

Saved events and routes: the events you save and the routes you plan. Signed-in users have these stored with their account; guests keep them only on their own device (see Cookies and local storage).

Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe, and the page you subscribed from.

Feedback: the message you send through the feedback button, the page address you were on, and a screenshot only if you choose to attach one.

Events and artworks you submit: the details you type into the forms, which we review before publishing.

Usage analytics: Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, plus Plausible, measure page views and page speed in aggregate. They are used to see which pages work and which are slow, not to build a profile of you.

Technical data such as IP address and browser type reaches our hosting and database providers (Vercel and Supabase) when your device connects to the site.

To run the site: show your saved events and routes, let you sign in, review submissions, and answer feedback.

To send the newsletter to people who asked for it. Every email can be unsubscribed from.

To keep the site fast and to decide what to improve.

We do not sell your information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. It is processed for us by the providers above (hosting, database, analytics, email).

Judooo keeps a few small items in your browser: your chosen theme (light or dark), your chosen language, and, if you are not signed in, your saved events and route list.

Sign-in uses a session cookie set by our authentication provider, Supabase.

You can clear these at any time in your browser settings. The site still works afterwards; you will just see the defaults and your guest lists will be empty.

Account data and saved events are kept until you ask us to delete your account.

Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

Feedback and screenshots are kept while we act on them, then deleted or anonymised.

Analytics are kept in aggregate form by the analytics providers under their own retention rules.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or withdraw a consent you gave earlier. This follows Vietnam's Personal Data Protection Decree (13/2023/ND-CP) and any other law that applies to you.

Write to judooovietnam@gmail.com and we will reply as soon as we can. To leave the newsletter, use the unsubscribe link in any email.

We use reasonable safeguards, including access control on the database. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and say so on the site.
